Netanyahu challenges Obama on Iran

Pros

  • Obama has repeatedly pledged not to let Iran obtain a nuclear weapon and to take action if Tehran breaks the terms of any deal.
  • Obama also declined to attend, saying he couldn't be seen taking sides ahead of Israels March 17 election.
  • boycotted by about 50 Democrats
  • Democrats to withdraw their support for the legislation

Cons
  • Democrats to withdraw their support for the legislation
  • made it clear he "opposes any deal that falls short if Iran's total disarmament and regime change", which the mullahs are never going to agree to.
  • Netanyahu is playing a dangerous game
Reflection: The nuclear deal Obama was making with Iran brought Netanyahu to worry about what was going to happen. Obama is not wanting to take sides, but Obama has pledged that he would not let Iran obtain a nuclear weapon and take no action if Tehran breaks the terms of any deal.
